Getting Started FAQ

Last updated May 17, 2020

Fix:
Search your all your platform email, including Spam, Junk and Trash for noreply@unpublished.space

Future:
We will be adding this notice to the signup page that tells you a Confirmation Email has been sent to you.

Why?
Besides having the equivalent privacy of a postcard and delivering 94% of malware attacks, email has many other problems. One of those problems is flagging legitimate emails as spam because they have a modern TLD (top level domain) such as .space instead of more common TLDs like .com, .org, .edu

Automated email sent from noreply@unpublished.space has been white flagged by us at email services like Gmail and Outlook. Yet, these services still send legitimate confirmation emails to spam.

Fix:
Whenever anyone posts new information as a Comment or new Post, it will move to the top of your Universal Feed the instant new information is added.

Your Universal Feed is the best place right now to monitor all new information for all Posts.

Future:
The next build of USpace will automatically send Notifications about Posts you have Commented on.

Why?
USpace was built not to clutter our Members with unnecessary Notifications, so only the person who Posted the original post receives notifications of Comments on that Post.

Our pilot users have let us know that when you Comment on a Post, when the person who made the Post replies to you with a Comment, you should get a push Notification. We agree.

We’re looking forward to adding the automatic feature, “After I Comment on a Post, I receive a Notification for every Comment after mine.” into the next build of USpace.

Fix:
After sending an Invitation to connect on USpace, follow up with a phone call, or Reply All to the group email sent out by your USpace group lead.

Let everyone know your USpace email address on USpace and tell them you sent an Invitation request to their email address.

You can also direct them here to uspace.co/handbook so they can read the same resources you have access to.

Future:
In the future, you will be able to upload a list of email addresses to send connection requests in bulk.

Why?
USpace is a new kind of network that blocks your profile from fake accounts, stalkers, artificial intelligence bot accounts acting like humans, advertisers, marketers, politicians, journalists, third parties and data mining.

USpace is built for secure business communications.

Everyone you don’t know has no access to your network until you you give your “Permission” through Advance Permission Design.

Advanced Permission Design is the proprietary connection protocol developed by USpace to protect you from everything dangerous and digital. APD blocks everything on USpace by default, and keeps your identity and presence on USpace secret until you accept a connection.

When you accept a Trusted Connection, only you can then see their Profile details and you will also follow their Profile Status Updates in the Status Feed (tab next to Universal Feed).

Even after you connect, you can’t see who your Trusted Connections are connected to – and they can’t see your TCs.

Who you are connected to is only your business on USpace.

APD is about the future of your life online:
To benefit from APD Protection of your online identity, you must add new connections using the email address your Trusted Connection is using on USpace.

By trading immediate gratification for a slow process that builds your network intentionally, you are creating a secure and safe command and control for personal and professional business on USpace right from the start.

Current networks like Facebook constantly push to expand your network to people you don’t know, increasing your exposure to risk every year, forever. USpace is designed and maintained to keep your online life safe and secure on the network in 5 years and beyond.

Fix:
Contact that person however you usually do – like phone, text or email – and ask them if they are on USpace or if they saw an invitation to USpace.

For USpace group emails, let everyone know your USpace email address on USpace and tell them you sent an Invitation request to their email address.

You can also direct them to uspace.co/handbook so they can read the same resources you have access to.

USpace replaces Silicon Valley’s casual use of your identity with Advanced Permission Design. APD is an airtight connection authentication that blocks everyone, and everything, you don’t want by default.  If you’re not connected, your profile information is invisible to anyone on, or off, the platform. Unwanted messaging from stalkers, bots, fake accounts, political groups, and random people will never happen. Also, who your Trusted Connections are is private to only you. Your network is secure and private from the start.
